PORTIER CACAO is a Hair Treatment based on Cacao, a typical Brazilian fruit.

Composed of an Anti-residue Shampoo and a Hydrating Mask, it cleanses, treats, and moisturizes, leaving hair looking very natural.

Excellent for Afro hair, it is compatible with any chemical treatment and hair type, lasting from 3 to 6 months, excluding new growth.

Hair gains lightness, movement, and a three-dimensional effect.

DEEP CLEANSING SHAMPOO 1000ml

Deeply cleanses the hair, removing product residues accumulated in the hair fiber. Provides extremely clean strands, with complete cuticle opening, ready to receive treatment.

CONDITIONING MASK 1000ml

Formulated with resinous oils that have emollient, moisturizing, and sealing action, providing complete hydration, intense softness, and incredible movement to the hair. Furthermore, it contains active ingredients that enhance hair shine with high conditioning performance on the strands. The result is hair radiating shine and softness.

ON WHICH HAIR TYPES SHOULD IT BE APPLIED?

On all hair types, especially Afro, curly, thick, dry, and dehydrated hair.

HOW FREQUENTLY SHOULD IT BE APPLIED?

The product's effect lasts up to 3 months. Therefore, we recommend reapplying the product only after a period of 3 to 6 months. It is possible to touch up when there is a need for special care and differentiated discipline for the strands.

IS IT COMPATIBLE WITH ALL CHEMICAL TREATMENTS?

Yes, Portier CACAO is compatible with all types of chemical treatments: guanidine, henna, coloring, bleaching, thioglycolate, ethanolamine, and sodium hydroxide. Always remember to check the health of the hair and perform a strand test before starting the process.

TIP

For blonde, fragile hair and hair with previous chemical processes, caution should be taken to always use a reduced flat iron temperature on sensitized parts due to hair saturation.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

WASHING

1 - Wet the hair and apply the Deep Cleansing Shampoo, rubbing all the hair well from root to tip, avoiding using your fingernail on the scalp. Rinse the hair and repeat the shampoo application; for the last application, leave it on the hair for a maximum of 20 minutes, checking for cuticle opening. Then, rinse all the hair and dry it 100% with a hairdryer on hot air from root to tip.

MASK APPLICATION

1 - Divide the hair into 4 parts: forehead to nape and ear to ear.

2 - Start applying the product, with the help of a comb and brush, to one of the sections, applying the product in strands, from bottom to top.

3 - After applying to all hair, use cool air to dry 80% to 100% to allow alcohol evaporation without causing discomfort.

PROCEDURE

1 - Divide the applied section into thin strands; with the flat iron, pre-dry the roots, hold the flat iron, position the comb in front, and slowly go down from the root to the ends, repeating this same process 3 times on the same strand.

2 - Do the same on the entire applied section, or on each strand to be sealed.

FINISHING

1 - For finishing, a wide and a narrow flat iron of good quality, high heating, and no gap when closed are necessary.

2 - Separating thin strands, pass two flat irons, one right after the other, to maintain hair heating, from root to tip, slowly up to 15 times.

3 - Repeat the entire procedure on the rest of the hair, doing one section at a time.

TIP 1: For a perfect result, the hair must be perfectly flat-ironed from root to tip.

TIP 2: For blonde hair, the flat iron should be used at a maximum temperature of 180º to 200º.

TIP 3: For hair that will be bleached, bleaching must be done first, then sealing followed by toning.

TIP 4: For retouching dark colors, the application should be done after cuticle sealing. For light colors (above 8 – light blonde), it should be colored before cuticle sealing.

TIP 5: For relaxed hair with chemical processes:

• Ammonium Thioglycolate and Etalonamine: Cacao can be applied on the same day.

• Guanidine and Sodium Hydroxide: wait one week due to scalp sensitivity.

• Henna: wait 30 days for application due to heavy metals.

HAIR WASHING

1 • After sealing the cuticles on all hair, wait 5 minutes and wash the hair with shampoo and conditioner.

2 • Comb the hair and dry it with a hairdryer.
